Grant Agency of the Academy of Science of the Czech Republic
The Grant Agency of the Academy of Science of the Czech Republic promotes scientific progress over the whole range of research and development areas in the Czech Republic. Grants are provided to all kinds of Czech state and private research and development institutions.
Grant proposals can be submitted in three categories:
- standard research
grant projects have the form of basic research (from 2 to 5 years)
- junior
research grant projects have the form of basic research for researchers younger
than 35 years (from 1 to 3 years)
- publication supporting grant projects have
the aim of helping to publish scientific results (as e.g. a monograph)
The work on the project is assessed by committees and subcommittees of individual target domains on the basic of yearly reports submitted by the grant holder. The results obtained when carrying out a supported project have to be published in a final report. The first two categories can be considered as suitable for projects concerning mobile technologies (depending on the age of the grant applicant).
